Find Dream Jobs is a job search engine with over 1.2 million unique monthly visitors. This online employment marketplace seeks to actively connect employers and job seekers, designed for a specific audience featuring gig jobs and labor-union jobs. Working with reputable companies like Pepsi, Hilton, Nike, FedEx, Walmart and more, Find Dream Jobs gives job seekers free access to search for and apply to jobs. It also offers free resume building assistance, and other career support tools!

My Role

Web & Marketing Designer

For Find Dream Jobs, I lead the user interface redesign, in collaboration with the product team, to improve the registration experience, resolve inconsistent web designs, and refine the overall user flow. I additionally worked on marketing campaigns to draw in new potential users to our job search platform.

Unifying User Interface

The Problem: The Find Dream Jobs user interface was in need of a refresh. The site was created in 2008 without a brand style guide, and had inconsistent web design and compliance issues.

The Solution: Design and produce a cohesive user interface and experience throughout Find Dream Jobs creating better website transparency, user flow, and increased conversion rates.

Progression testing

The objective for the registration progression testing was to increase the number of job seekers signing up for Find Dream Jobs. The original outdated experience saw decreasing progression rates, so we sought to enhance the overall quality of our registration.

The Challenges:
• Understand how users are interacting with the flow
• Identify “pain points” where users are falling off & why
• Create logo replacement system for 100% brand compliance
• Brainstorm new solutions to improve the progression rate

The Solutions:
‍• Implement “Hot Jar” software throughout flow to understand users interactions and locate the pain points
• Interview both repeat and non repeat users to further understand our pain points
• Develop text logo & color system to replace brand logos
• Create wireframes and design solutions which will be A/B tested against old designs
• Digest and rationalize data to roll out new and improved experience

Income Tax Calculator

Designed and collaborated with developers to built a tool which allows users to calculate their estimated income taxes. Give it a try!

Brand Social Advertising

Before my role as User Interface Designer, I was involved in Brand Social Advertising and created unique and engaging image and video assets for social media channels. Developed static and motion ads with Adobe AfterEffects and Illustrator for holiday promotions and marketing campaigns.
